Eat Less, Happiness Diet

There is an amazing book out called “End of Overeating”.   It addresses all the problems in our society.  It explains how we have made food a killer in our western society.  Our approach to food is leading to all our medical problems.

We overeat, we eat unhealthy, we eat processed foods, we have unhealthy food supplies……

As I have said many times before, we need to re-examine our lives.  We need to start eating local and eating less.

There is an app called “Happiness Diet” in the app store for iTunes.   We recommend this app for all those who want to change their lives.  It provokes thought and simplifies the problem of overweight people to its essense. WE know when we are overeating.

Here are some basic rules:

  1. Don’t snack
  2. Eat fresh cooked foods
  3. Eat less
  4. Choose your meats carefully, ground beef, hot dogs etc are not safe…reduce your intake
  5. Avoid processed foods
  6. Portion control
  7. Avoid sodas, corn syrup
  8. Don’t eat in front of the TV
  9. Know when you are full
  10. All the exercise in the world will not make you healthy if your intake is bad
